Al-Hiba - Supporting Women Headed Families
This project focuses on livelihood assistance in making livelihood opportunities sustainable beyond the span of external support. Women headed families will be supported to move beyond subsistence production, to value-addition to production, capital-creation, livelihood training, market linkages, and robust private sector engagement.
The Al - Hiba project is targeted aid to women / widows in the North and east who are IDPs / returnees. Our objective is to help these women to build up their families - with a sustainable income source and make them independent.
By the 500 rupees our valued donors contribute on a monthly basis, we plan to support one family per month to set up a business of their choice.
We will support Home gardening, Poultry, Catering, Tailoring, pottery and other businesses that will bring income to the families.
